What courses do we offer and when?

As a regional training centre (RTC) we aim to deliver courses that build the skills and confidence of educators of all phases to use new technology both inside and outside of the classroom. We aim to create, through our courses, a community who share best practices and inspire excellence and creativity through their teaching.

Below you will find details of the courses we have on offer this academic year and the best news (in times of financial challenge) is that they are all FREE! If you would like to book onto one of our courses, please use the links below.

This workshop is aimed at supporting parents in managing and education their children in the safe and appropriate use of technology in the digital world. Whilst there will be a general focus, we will also be offering advice regarding cyber bullying and the impact of digital devices on mental health. This year we are going to be offering this workshop as both a physical seminar and also as a webinar that parents can access at home - the hope being that this makes this important support evening accessible to parents with younger children at home.

Workload and time is a much discussed issue for any teacher and certainly something that is high on any school’s agenda.

This workshop focuses on how we can develop ways to become more productive in our use of the iPads both inside and outside of the classroom and as such have a positive impact on our well-being. In particular there will be a focus on developing ways to minimise teacher workload from both an individual and systemic point of view. In light of our drive to provide more versatile CPD offers, this will be an online course.
